COMPRESSOR RUNS BUT

A. Low charge. A. Leak check – Recharge.
B. Hot gas solenoid leaking. B. Replace.
C. Defective expansion valve. C. Replace.
D. Inefficient compressor. D. Replace.
E. Internal by-pass open,
compressor noisy.
E. Permit pressures to equalize.
CUBER DOESN’T GO INTO
FREEZE CYCLE
A. Ice bridge setting too low. A. Adjust per bridge adjustment
instructions.
B. Expansion valve failure (will
not pull down).
B. Tighten bulb, replace as needed.
See check-out procedure.
CUBER REMAINS IN THE
FREEZE CYCLE
A. Low inlet water pressure A. Check for restriction in the water
supply line or filter.
B. Fill valve failure
C. Pressure tube failure.
D. Pressure sensor failure.
E. Water leak.
F. High or low ambient
temperature.
B. Replace as needed.
C. Ensure that pressure tube is
connected and free of cuts or
kinks.
D. Replace control board as needed.
E. Check for leaks in the water
distribution system and repair as
needed.
F. Ensure air ambient temperature is
from 50 to 100 degrees.
LONG FREEZE CYCLE
GENERAL
A. Water inlet valve leaking. A. Repair or replace.
B. Dirty condenser or fan blade. B. Clean as required.
C. Louvers at condenser
obstructed.
C. Remove obstruction.
D. Ambient air temperature too
high.
D. Advise customer.
E. Condenser discharge air
re-circulating.
E. Install condenser baffle.
F. Low charge. F. Check for leak, correct, evacuate
and recharge.
G. Hot gas solenoid valve leaking
(not seating).
G. Replace.
H. Water regulator valve set too
high or stuck (water cooled
units only).
H. Adjust, clean or replace (setting to
be 260 to 271 PSI).
